Touch 2: The 24-Hour Reminder
Day before the call. This one does two things: reminds them it's happening, and pre-frames the conversation:
"Quick reminder — we're on tomorrow at [time]. Come ready to talk numbers: your current close rate, average deal size, and what's not working. The more specific you are, the more I can help."
Touch 3: The 1-Hour Heads Up
This is the closer's secret weapon. One hour before, hit them with urgency and clarity:
"We're on in 1 hour. Here's the Zoom link: [link]. I've got a hard stop after, so let's start on time. See you there."
That's it. Three touches. Automated. Done.
The Personal Touch That Changes Everything
Want to go from 75% to 85%+? Add one personal message.
Between booking and the call, send them a 30-second video or voice note:
"Hey [Name], it's Rob. Just saw your booking come through — looking forward to it. Before we talk, think about what's really holding you back right now. Not the surface stuff. The real thing. That's what we're going to dig into."
This does three things:
- Makes you a real person (harder to ghost a human than a calendar link)
- Gets them thinking about their problem (warmer when they show up)
- Sets the frame that this is a real conversation, not a pitch

What About Reschedules?
Some people will still need to move the call. That's fine — if you handle it right.
When someone asks to reschedule, respond immediately with a new link. Don't make them work for it. The longer the gap between "I need to reschedule" and "Here's the new time," the more likely they disappear forever.
Pro tip: If they reschedule once, they'll often reschedule again. For serial reschedulers, be direct: "I can move it once, but I need you committed. Are you in or out?" Politely. But clearly.
